How to Consign with L's On Augusta

Our Guidelines

Each season we hand pick the best quality, new and gently worn fashions from some of the best closets, boutiques and artisans in the upstate and bring them to you in a clean, spacious and fun boutique setting, with friendly and helpful staff, eager to offer the best in customer service.

Examples of some the lines we like to carry are, but not limited to; Liz Claiborne, J.N.Y., Ann Taylor, Kasper, Doncaster, Lilly Pulitzer, Trina Turk, Etcetera, Citizens For all mankind, Chico’s, Bebe, BCBG, J Crew, Chanel, Banana Republic, Prada, St. John, Escada and Gucci.

In addition to clothing we accept: Designer and fashion handbags, including Prada, Gucci, Coach, Valentina, L.V., Furla, Marc Jacobs to name a few. Also, shoes, jewelry and other accessories.

Home décor and small accent furniture also is accepted with manager’s approval.

We accept up to 20 items per appointment, additional items are welcomed with management’s approval, and are subject to additional handling fees.

Seasonal clothing and accessories must be current, in style (not more than a couple of seasons), and of the highest quality. No holes, stains, missing buttons, clasps, soiled cuffs or collars and free of any fragrance or odors. All clothing must be clean, pressed and on disposable hangers you can leave. Shoes must be in near mint condition and current styles.

The consigned price of an item will be set by management after drop off. A $5.00 handling fee will be added to your consignment group (up to 20 pieces), additional pieces over (20) will also be subject to a minimum $5.00 fee for each additional 3 to 20 pieces and will be deducted from your first check from that group, any additional drop offs will also be subject to the same handling fees.

Furniture will be taken on a separate consignment, under a separate contract, and is considered a separate grouping, with a handling fee of $10.00 to $20.00 per piece.

All items will be kept for a period of 60 to 90 days, with automatic 20% to 50% markdowns taken after each 30 day period. Markdowns depend on the condition, season and demand for the item. In addition, L’S ON AUGUSTA will hold normal periodic sales of end and out of season merchandise and will be subject to deeper discounts.

Money is available for pickup the 15th of each month following the month of your sales, for 45% of the selling price. Any amount less than $10.00, but will accrue to the next month you have additional sales. We ask that you do not call until the 15th to check on your sales.

All unsold items will be donated to Safe Harbor Women’s Shelter, or you can pick them up after the contract period (you can choose your preference when you sign your contract at your first drop off).

Always call ahead before bringing in your items, to see what/if we are taking at that time.

CONSIGNORS MAY NOT PICK UP ITEMS UNTIL THE END OF THE CONTRACT PERIOD OR WILL BE SUBJECT TO A SERVICE FEE NOT TO EXCEED 50% OF THE SELLING PRICE.
